About Us
Wandering Soles was started out of a love for travel.
In addition to the many products (Travel DVDs, Travel
Books, Cheat Sheet Travel Guides, etc.) that we offer,
we also hope to provide a portal for all of your travel
needs. From online travel tips, to travel news, to
articles written by many different travel writers, we
hope to take some of the hassle out of travel, while
adding some of the fun.
Laura Raitman Martone - Co-Founder / Writer / Host
Laura has established herself as a major force in the
travel writing industry with 9 travel books published
with Insight Guides (Discovery Channel's guidebooks)
and Avalon Publishing (the world's largest travel book
publisher; Moon Handbooks, Moon Metro, and more).
In addition to travel books, Laura has published
numerous travel articles in magazines and online travel
sites.
Daniel Martone - Co-Founder / Producer / Director
Daniel has spent the last two decades producing various
films and television programs, working in the US, Great
Britain, and Costa Rica.
Joe Eastman - Writer / Editor / Webmaster
Joe has worked on some of the largest travel websites
creating portals from which travelers could successfully
launch their adventures.
Rachel Page - Writer / Editor
Rachel spent the last dozen years as a travel agent,
allowing her to discover the industries secrets and now
to reveal them to you.
